AutoIMS Names CEO to Replace Broe

Auto Auction Services Corp., which is also known as AutoIMS, has named Venkat Krishnamoorthy as its new chief executive, following the retirement of Mike Broe.

Krishnamoorthy joined AutoIMS in 2002 from Delta Airlines and had been serving as the auction technology software provider's chief operating officer in his most recent role. He has been active in the remarketing industry, serving as co-chair of an IARA committee.

"The KAR team congratulates Venkat on this well-deserved promotion," said Warren Byrd, an AutoIMS board member. "His deep knowledge about the company, the technology, and our industry positions Venkat perfectly to lead the next chapter of AASC."

AutoIMS supplies auction software that connects more than 1,200 commercial vehicle consignors, 650 auto auctions, and dozens of third-party providers to improve data connections and wholesale remarketing inventory management.
