KAR Auction Services has named Tim Massingale as vice president of the enterprise optimization team.

Massingale will be responsible for maximizing resources and increasing synergies across KAR's business units. He will also oversee the company’s safety training programs and lead the team responsible for compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, according to the company.
Massingale will report to David Vignes, executive vice president of enterprise optimization.
“This promotion is a testament to the bench strength of talented professionals we have across the KAR group of companies,” said Vignes. “I am pleased to have a seasoned executive like Tim with more than 16 years of in-house and automotive experience join our team. His extensive knowledge and leadership skills will be a true asset and will contribute greatly to the continued success of KAR.”
Massingale joined KAR Auction Services in 2009, where he held a variety of management positions at PAR North America, including national remarketing manager, client relations manager, director of operations and vice president of compliance and ancillary services.
