In Memoriam: Dealers Auto Auction Group's Mark Hopkins
Mark Hopkins, long time employee and national accounts manager for the Dealers Auto Auction Group, a division of City Enterprises, LLC., passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 1, 2016. He was 65.

Mark Hopkins, longtime employee and National Fleet Lease Manager for the Dealers Auto Auction Group, a division of City Enterprises, LLC., passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 1, 2016. He was 65.
He spent the last 11 years working with Dealers Auto Auction, and he was a Certified Auto Remarketer with the IARA. Prior to his years with the auction, he worked at City Auto Sales in the wholesale department.
Over 200 people attended the service celebrating his life on Oct. 6., said David Andrews, friend of Hopkins and president at City Auto Sales. Andrews worked with Hopkins during his tenure at Dealers Auto Auction and City Auto Sales.
"He was a great guy, he had a lot of friends, which was evident by the number of people that showed up at his funeral," said Andrews. "He was a giving person."

His hobbies included golfing, spending time at Table Rock Lake, boating, and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vicki Kendrick Hopkins, and their beloved dog Tag. Sisters; Katy Loving (Leroy), Debbie Hopkins, Judy Lohmeyer (Mike), Kim Will (Randy), and Loura Hopkins. Sisters-in- law; Kari Hopkins, Janet Jones (Steve) and Diane Dufresne. Brother-in-law; Ed Loving. Nieces and nephews; Erin Dufresne, Somer Weber (Kelly), Samantha Cotton, Lisa Yoakam (Jeff), Missy Alexander, David Loving (Kristina), Heather Robbins (Kevin),Holly Butler (Clint), Dustin Hopkins (MeKenzie), Mark Lohmeyer (Nicole), Sally Breedlove (Tommy), Benny Lohmeyer (Meika), Sarah Childress (Robert), Chase Marable and 14 grand nieces and nephews. His Godchildren; Lisa Yoakam, Mark Lohmeyer, and Tucker Fox.
He was born in Springfield, Mo., on April 10, 1951. He graduated from Parkview High School and Missouri State University.
