IAA Expands and Relocates Mississippi Auctions
Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA) has relocated one Mississippi auction to a larger facility and expanded a second auction in the state, the salvage auction house has announced.

Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA) has relocated one Mississippi auction to a larger facility and expanded a second auction in the state, the salvage auction house has announced.
IAA relocated its Jackson branch to Byram, and expanded a facility in Granada facility, acccording to the company. The new facilities, which will go from a combined 32 acres to more than 130 acres, will offer expanded vehicle selection and inventory space.
“Our clients in Mississippi have increasing inventory needs and these expansions will help us continue to offer our best-in-class customer service and auction experience,” said John Kett, CEO and president of IAA. “We can now host a single, dual lane weekly auction in Byram and offer greater capacity for vehicle volume resulting from potential catastrophic events, as well as growing client needs.”
The Byram facility will include two new run-and-drive lanes, as well as a vehicle inspection center with covered areas that's equipped with thermal imaging cameras. This location will hold auctions on Wednesdays and previews on Tuesdays.
The expanded Grenada location will gain additional inventory and storage space. The location will hold auctions on Thursdays and previews on Wednesdays.
