Insurance Auto Auctions to Purchase Indiana Auto Storage Pool

WESTCHESTER, IL – Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA), an automotive total loss and specialty salvage service, has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of Indiana Auto Storage Pool (IASP). IASP operates two locations in Indiana – a 45-acre facility in Indianapolis and a 15-acre site in South Bend. IAA expects the acquisition to close by the end of April.

Chrysler Group Posts Highest Total Ever for Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV) Sales in March and First Quarter 2006

AUBURN HILLS, MI – Chrysler Group reported that its Five Star dealers posted an all-time monthly sales record of 12,029 Certified Pre-owned Vehicle (CPOV) units in March, a 14 percent increase from March 2005 sales and a 29 percent jump from February 2006 results.
