Sergot joined World Omni in 2001 as director of sales and client relations for CenterOne Financial Services, was promoted in 2004 to run Vehicle Inspection Services and in 2006 to Vice President of DataScan Field Services. He led the growth of DataScan Field Services by seeking new business opportunities while expanding its field specialist network, leveraging associate expertise and developing cutting-edge technologies. His accomplishments within DataScan Field Services include integrating the inspection and inventory check operational groups, leading the acquisition and development of DataScan’s Canadian businesses, and driving considerable year-over-year growth.

Recently Sergot led the launch of InspectMyRide.com, an online vehicle inspection service that makes shopping for a car on the Internet easier for buyers by giving them the opportunity to have a professional inspection of the vehicle they are considering purchasing, according to the company. The consumer product was a natural progression for DataScan Field Services, which is already one of the largest and most respected floorplan inventory verification companies in the automotive industry and performs off lease vehicle inspections for a large number of leasing companies and financial institutions.

Prior to joining World Omni, Sergot served in leadership roles at the Greater Auction Group, Walden Automotive Group, MarketWise Solutions and Autodaq. Sergot received his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., and currently resides in John’s Creek, Ga.
