RMS Automotive and vAuto have partnered to make it more convenient for dealers to evaluate and acquire manufacturers’ premium off-lease and off-program vehicles before they get to auction, according to a company announcement.

The partnership will integrate open sale inventory listed on manufacturers’ digital sales platforms, powered by RMS Automotive, into VAuto’s Stockwave tool — a tool that helps dealers bid on the best vehicles at auctions based on their specific parameters.

“Our partnership with vAuto is another example of how RMS Automotive leverages its connectivity to other Cox Automotive brands to drive more informed decision-making for our clients,” said Nick Peluso, president of RMS Automotive. “This initiative provides dealers unequalled access to pre-auction inventory and helps manufacturers accelerate transactions by channeling the right vehicles to the right dealers at the right time.”

After opening its online remarketing channel to all dealers last summer, BMW Financial Services NA, LLC is one of the first commercial consignors to incorporate its wholesale inventory into Stockwave. This means that dealers using Stockwave can view inventory found on BMWGroupDirect.com before it goes to auction.

Vehicles can be searched by cost, availability, and other factors that are relevant to dealers’ specific operations.

vAuto’s Stockwave inventory stream includes nearly 300,000 auction vehicles through integrations with leading auctions across the country, according to the company.  vAuto is also working on integrating wholesale inventory from additional OEM-related sources.
