The company’s award recognizes vehicles for their projected retained value through its initial five-year ownership period. All vehicles that ranked in KBB’s resale value awards retained over 50% of their MSRP after the five-year period.
This year marks the fourth year that Subaru has earned the award for the mainstream brand category. Vehicle categories that Subaru earned awards for included compact cars, midsize cars, subcompact SUVs, compact SUVs, and 2-row midsize SUVs.These awards went to the Impreza, Legacy, Crosstrek, Forester, and Outback, respectively.
The top 10 cars in KBB’s 2020 best resale value awards included the Chevrolet Corvette; Chevrolet Silverado; Ford Ranger; GMC Sierra; Jeep Gladiator; Jeep Wrangler; Ram Pickup; Toyota 4Runner; Toyota Tacoma; and Toyota Tundra.
