Corry Auto Dealers Exchange Holds Annual Food Drive for Food Pantry
For the fifth year running, Corry ADE held their annual food drive where dealers partake in a Thanksgiving feast in exchange for a donation that will go to Corry Area Food Pantry.
Owners of Corry Auto Dealers Exchange believe in giving thanks by giving back to the local community. For the fifth year running, Corry ADE held their annual food drive where dealers partake in a Thanksgiving feast in exchange for a donation that will go to Corry Area Food Pantry.
Corry ADE management asks that dealers donate a non-perishable food item or a make a cash donation in exchange for a Turkey Dinner provided by Corry ADE. The management team will deliver the donations to Corry Area Food Pantry who disburse the donated food to families in need.
George Kirik, a member of the Board of Directors of Corry Area Food Pantry in attendance at Thursday’s auction said, “Donations weighed in at 547 pounds, well over last year’s total -- plus we received nearly $200 in cash. It was a great turn out for a wonderful cause. We appreciate what Corry ADE does to help so much.”
Jack Cooney, owner of Jack Cooney Auto Sales, who attended Thursday’s event said, “It’s a great thing that Corry ADE is doing. There are many people who are less fortunate. It was my pleasure to help out.”
