ADESA has appointed Gil Hyder as its executive sales director, according to a company announcement.
In this new role, Hyder will manage ADESA commercial client relationships and lead commercial client efforts for physical auction and upstream remarketing services, along with other related products and services available across the KAR group of companies.

Hyder has been with the KAR Auction Services family of companies for the past 12 years. In that time, he has moved his way up through the management positions at Insurance Auto Auctions. Most recently, he served as director of commercial sales at IAA, where he managed more than 30 national and regional accounts.
In total, Hyder has more than 15 years of automotive industry experience.
