Independent auto dealers will again be able to experience the excitement of the auction block at the 2015 National Independent Automobile Dealers Association Convention and Expo at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
For the third consecutive year, ADESA, AFC and IAA – members of the KAR Auction Services group of companies – have donated a car to be auctioned off in a benefit event for the NIADA Foundation during the association's 69th Annual Convention.
The auction will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 in the center of the Expo Hall.
This year's vehicle is a loaded polar white 2013 Mercedes C250W with an automatic package, leather, a glass sunroof, sport suspension, and sport styling, including a rear-deck spoiler. It has only 19,721 miles on the odometer and a clear CARFAX report.
The car will be on display in the Expo Hall during the convention, which begins Monday, June 22. The Expo opens with a Grand Opening Reception the next day.
ADESA will transport the vehicle free for the winning bidder to any location in the United States.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the NIADA Foundation, which spearheads the association's commitment to charitable giving as well as awarding scholarships to deserving college-bound students across the United States and providing training and educational opportunities to automobile dealers and the general public.
Over the past two years, the ADESA/AFC/IAA-sponsored auctions at the NIADA Convention have raised a total of $42,200 for the NIADA Foundation. During last year's event, a 2011 BMW 328xi sold for $23,400.
