Vehicle Remarketing
Acertus has acquired Fisher Shipping, expanding the automotive logistics company’s carrier network and relationships with automakers and dealerships.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Fisher Shipping, founded in 2006, manages the nationwide transportation of cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles. The company will continue operating under its existing brand, and its team will remain in place to serve customers.
Fisher Shipping customers will gain access to Acertus’ broader logistics services, including vehicle transportation and storage, vehicle care and maintenance, and title and registration. Acertus said the acquisition will also provide those customers with additional carrier capacity, real-time shipment visibility, and fraud-prevention technology.
“Fisher Shipping has earned its reputation through trust, consistency, and a team that genuinely cares about its customers,” Acertus CEO Michael DeLuca said. “This acquisition expands our platform and deepens our ability to serve the automotive ecosystem.”

“Joining Acertus lets us preserve those values while giving our customers access to greater capacity, technology, and solutions,” Fisher said.
Acertus provides vehicle transportation, storage, reconditioning, delivery, and title and registration services to automotive, fleet, and relocation customers throughout the United States.
