Largest-Ever Total Resource Auctions Sale Held in Boston

ATLANTA – Manheim's Total Resource Auctions held the largest rental salvage and damaged vehicle sale in its history Sept. 15. Approximately 200 buyers participated in the two-lane sale at American Auto Auction in Boston, bidding on more than 425 salvage and inoperable vehicles from commercial and dealer consignors, including Hertz, Enterprise and Cendant Car Rental Group.

Chrysler Group Reports Record Highs for August 2005 Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV) Sales

AUBURN HILLS – Chrysler Group reported that its Five Star dealers sold a new August record of 9,024 units, a 19 percent increase over August 2004 sales of 7,589 units. Record year-to-date sales amounted to 71,996 units for 2005, an increase of 9 percent over year-to-date sales last year.
