The annual ALG Residual Value Awards recognize vehicles in 26 segments that it projects to hold the highest percentage of their manufacturer’s suggested retail price after a three-year period.

ALG has named Subaru and Land Rover as the winners of its 2019 Residual Value Awards for the overall mainstream and premium brand categories, according to a company announcement.

The annual ALG Residual Value Awards recognize vehicles in 26 segments that it projects to hold the highest percentage of their manufacturer’s suggested retail price after a three-year period.

Subaru and Land Rover, according to the company, were chosen due to the strength they have shown in their respective segments.

The awards will be presented to the brands this week during Automobility LA.

The Subaru Impreza, Honda Accord, and Dodge Charger earned top honors in this year’s compact, mid-size, and full-size categories, respectively.

The Subaru Crosstrek, Subaru Forester, and Toyota Sequoia earned the ALG Residual Value Award in the subcompact, compact, and full-size utility categories for the 2019 awards.

Toyota was the big winner among trucks, earning the 2019 awards for the full-size and mid-size pickup categories for the brands Tundra and Tacoma trucks, respectively.

In the luxury car space, the Audi A3, Lexus RC, and Volvo V90 earned the 2019 awards for the premium compact, mid-size, and full-size categories. In the luxury utility space, the Land Rover brand sweeped all categories, which included premium compact utility, premium mid-size utility 2nd row seating, premium mid-size utility 3rd row seating, and premium full-size utility.

Similarly, Mercedes-Benz earned both awards that ALG holds for commercial vans. The Mercedes-Benz Metris earned the 2019 award in mid-size commercial category and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter earned the award in the full-size commercial category.
