Manheim's Lane Alerts messaging system have helped sell 33,000 vehicles since its launch in January of this year, according to the company.

Lane Alerts is a Manheim messaging service that sends buyers a text message in advance of a vehicle they’re interested in coming up for sale.

Manheim noted that since its launch, the system has sent over 700,000 Lane Alert text messages to the 60,000 clients that opted in for the service. On average, vehicles with Lane Alerts set have a higher conversion rate than those that don’t, according to Manheim.

Lane Alert allows buyers to click to watch vehicles they’re interested in without having to manually review run lists and planning out their sale day strategy. Lane Alerts work for both Simulcast and physical auctions.

Dealers can sign up for Lane Alerts through their dealer profile or directly from vehicle details pages or search results pages on Manheim’s website.
