Manheim Express, a mobile app that allows dealers to list and sell inventory from their lots or in-lane, is now available nationwide after an eight-month pilot, the company announced.

This app is being released at a time when Manheim has seen increasing digital sales. Through the first half of 2018, Manheim achieved double-digit growth in digital transactions, amounting to 45% of the company’s vehicles being sold to a digital buyer.

Manheim Express was piloted in eight U.S. markets during its pilot period; during which, the app was downloaded by over 1,600 dealers. These dealers scanned over 2,500 VINs using the app to see the vehicle’s value from Manheim Market Report and also created over 200 listings.

Customer feedback during the pilot period, Manheim noted, had an impact on the development of the app. Manheim Express joins a list of several digital solutions being integrated into the Manheim marketplace such as Manheim.com, OVE, and OEM-specific marketplaces.
