Cox Automotive has named Zach Hallowell as vice president of Manheim Digital Marketplace and RMS Automotive.

This appointment comes roughly two years after joining RMS automotive in late 2015.

In his new role, Hallowell will direct and coordinate the overall domestic and global operational activities for digital channels such as Simulcast, OEM-specific marketplaces, Manheim.com, and OVE, along with RMS Automotive and its global business, the company stated.

Hallowell will also work closely with Derek Hansen, Manheim’s recently named vice president of offsite solutions.

Previously, Hallowell served as general manager of RMS Automotive. In this position, he was responsible for directing and coordinating the overall global activities of RMS to ensure optimum efficiency and productivity to maximize growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

In 2017, RMS reached a milestone of 400,000 vehicle transactions passing through the RMS Automotive Platform, representing 25% more transactions than in the previous year.

In total, Hallowell has over 15 years of experience in the remarketing industry, working in places such as ADESA and OPENLANE.
