Direct Auction Services, LLC has announced that David Young been appointed the company’s President. The announcement was made by company CEO David Nutter.

 “We are delighted to welcome David Young to the Direct family of businesses as the company’s President,” said Nutter.  “He is a respected industry veteran with proven results in team development and leadership, who brings tremendous skill and experience to this key position in our company. We are excited to be working with him as we expand our customer base and services.”

Young makes the move to Direct after a 25-year career in corporate auction management.  Most recently he served as Sr. Market Vice-President for Manheim, overseeing auction operations in South Texas and the Gulf Coast.  While at Manheim, Young also served in other senior operational roles as a Group Vice-President and Regional Vice-President for the state of Florida.  Prior to his service with Manheim, he was vice president of operations for ADT Automotive, supervising 28 auction locations, as well as the company’s transport division and technical center.

Direct Auction Services, LLC was founded by David Nutter in 2009, following a lengthy career with Manheim and predecessor auction groups.  Under the umbrella of Direct Auction Services, Direct Reconditioning, LLC offers professional management of high volume shop production for the auction industry, including Detail, Paint & Body, and Mechanical.  Auction Tires Online, LLC is a comprehensive provider of tires for the industry, while Roadrunner, LLC is the newest addition, building its position as the only provider of local auction pick-up and delivery services having a national footprint.
