Voting has opened for the 2018 Consignor of the Year, an award sponsored by Bobit Business Media and the National Auto Auction Association.


Voting has opened for the 2018 Consignor of the Year, an award sponsored by Bobit Business Media and the National Auto Auction Association.
Voters will be allowed to select the top three consignors they feel have contributed significantly to the remarketing industry.
Strong candidates for this award will have implemented an encouraged the use of best practices; implemented industry innovations; moved the industry forward with the sharing of knowledge and expertise; and participated in industry association and groups.
The award will be presented to the winner on March 7 during the consignor awards presentation segment of the 2018 Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. Last year, Tim Meta of Fifth Third Bank received the distinction.
The full schedule of the 2018 CAR has also been announced, and can be viewed here. Key educational topics that will be discussed during the show include the strategies to remarket higher-mileage inventory; succeeding in the emerging new auction landscape; and methods to collaborate with OEMS to enhance brand residuals.
