ATLANTA – Vehicle Inspection Services, LLC (VIS), a full-service vehicle inspection company, has named Don Fowler, a 30-year veteran of the automobile remarketing industry, as executive director of business development. Fowler will be responsible for the development and coordination of new business opportunities while directing the sales and marketing initiatives.
"Specifically, we will target OEMs, captive finance companies, fleet and lease companies, and the banking industry, as well as the expanding Internet providers, sellers, and buyers to provide inspection, audit, and certification programs," said Fowler.
In Fowler's 30-year career, he has remarketed vehicles for PHH and managed auctions with increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing and general management of auctions owned by GE Capital, ServNet, Manheim, and ADESA. In addition, Fowler assisted Autodaq, an Internet auction provider that merged with Auto Trade Center, and United Road, a vehicle transportation company, as they expanded their respective services to the national remarketing community.
VIS performs vehicle inspection services for major auto manufacturers, financial institutions, leasing companies, warranty companies, and contract service administrators. The VIS operation center is located in Solon, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. Vehicle Inspection Services was recently acquired by DataScan Technologies, LLC.
