Two Manheim Auctions Receive Mercedes-Benz Financial Awards
ATLANTA – Mercedes-Benz Financial has awarded Manheim's Riverside Auto Auction with the first-ever “Award of Excellence” and named Manheim's Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Auto Auction “Most Improved Auction of 2005.”
ATLANTA – Mercedes-Benz Financial has awarded Manheim’s Riverside Auto Auction with the first-ever “Award of Excellence” and named Manheim’s Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Auto Auction “Most Improved Auction of 2005.”
The auctions were selected based on outstanding performance on behalf of Mercedes-Benz Financial in the areas of cycle time, operations, and proceeds.
Riverside Auto Auction, which holds a monthly 10-lane Exotic Highline sale for Mercedes as well as a smaller Premier sale each month, sold 4,873 vehicles for Mercedes-Benz Financial in 2005.
DFW Auto Auction jumped from ninth to second place in a year. The auction finished one-tenth of a point behind Riverside Auto Auction for “Auction of the Year” honors. An Exotic Highline sale for Mercedes is held at the auction each month.
Frank Post, general manager of DFW Auto Auction, said the award is a tribute to the hard work of the auction staff.
