Tri-State Auto Auctions Sold to ADESA
FARGO, ND – ADESA Auctions announced that it has acquired Tri-State Auto Auction in West Fargo, and Sioux Falls Auto Auction near Sioux Falls, S.D. Tri-State Auto Auction, which celebrated its 55th year in business this past June, will be renamed “ADESA Fargo.”
FARGO, ND – ADESA Auctions announced that it has acquired Tri-State Auto Auction in West Fargo, and Sioux Falls Auto Auction near Sioux Falls, S.D. Tri-State Auto Auction, which celebrated its 55th year in business this past June, will be renamed “ADESA Fargo.” The 30-acre facility offers six fully automated auction lanes.
Sioux Falls Auto Auction will be renamed “ADESA Sioux Falls.” In business since 1990, this 40-acre facility has four fully automated lanes. Both locations have full-service reconditioning facilities as well as offering sizeable salvage auctions on site. Additional terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Dave Zabel, former president of Tri-State Auto Auction, also owned Sioux Falls Auto Auction, which is run by his brother, Kurt. Zabel will serve as general manager of ADESA Fargo, and Kurt will continue in the role of general manager at ADESA Sioux Falls.
