MT. VERNON, IOWA – Plaza Auto Auction, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa has retained TPC Management Company for strategic consulting in National Account - Fleet/Lease business development.

“Plaza Auto Auction is known throughout the Midwest for its great selection of vehicles and its award-winning service,” said auction owner Mark Greb. “In upholding that reputation for excellence, we feel the time is right to expand our fleet/lease and institutional vehicle offering at our weekly sales, and to strengthen our service level to our fleet/lease accounts. We enlisted Pierre Pons and his team at TPC Management to assist us in those efforts, knowing that their expertise and connections in the industry will be invaluable to us.”

Plaza Auto Auction is one of the longest-running sales in the country. It has been in operation for more than 45 years, and has the distinction of being the largest Wednesday evening auto auction in the Midwest for 40 of those years. The facility is owned and managed by Mark Greb, a 20-year veteran of the auction industry who worked for both Manheim and ADT before purchasing the Plaza Auto Auction in 2003.

“Plaza Auto Auction and its loyal customers have developed a strong, consistent relationship over the years, which has allowed us to weather a challenging economy, an uneasy automotive market, and even last year’s flooding,” said Greb. “Through it all, our dealers have shown determination and resilience, and the auction has maintained its commitment to providing the best in auction services for both buyers and sellers, including offering an outstanding selection of vehicles every week.”

Greb further added, “We have recently added Andy Kiesey to our staff as Fleet/Lease Manager to better serve our Fleet/Lease accounts. Andy will provide strong administrative management, to help those accounts maximize the resale value of their vehicles.”

Said Pierre Pons of TPC Management, “Mark Greb has brought enthusiasm and energy to Plaza Auto Auction, and has positioned the facility as a strong, competitive force in the Midwest marketplace. Any company with a vehicle portfolio in the Midwest would do well to look at selling vehicles at Plaza Auto Auction.”

TPC Management Company provides consulting and management recruiting services to a wide variety of companies within the automotive industry. Their auction programs work with Independent auto auction locations throughout the United States. laza Auto Auction holds regular auction sales every Wednesday and can be found on the web at www.plazaaa.com.
