Military where the sale began in the spring of 1967 and 44 years later an all new facility awaits our dealers, just a few miles down the road at 656 S. Military in Virginia Beach," said Mike Hockett, president of TWAA. "Three state-of-the-art buildings with a distinct architecture familiar to the Virginia Beach and Outer Banks areas are now completed that will welcome our existing base of loyal dealers and our new out of town buyers."
The new location is 72 acres, features a state-of-the-art facility, eight fully automated lanes, live online bidding, and is just 8 miles down the road from its previous venue.
On Wed., April 27 TWAA held its last sale at the old location moved its offices on April 28. The new location is at 656 S. Military Hwy., Virginia Beach, Va. (757) 487-3464.
Hockett continued, "We’re not in our final form yet as we’re still putting the final polish on the fenders, getting some technical items ironed out and getting used to our new home. A little over 14 years ago, I promised our dealer base that if they supported us, I’d build the finest auction facility in the state, and I believe that we’ve done that. This is THEIR new auction and I thank them for their support and know that none of this would have been possible without it."
