BREA, CA – American Suzuki Motor Corp. has partnered with Onlane Inc. to launch Suzuki Direct, an Internet remarketing program allowing Suzuki dealers to view, select, and purchase Suzuki used-vehicle inventory via the Internet.
"Through our customized program with Onlane, Suzuki Direct will provide our Certified Used Car and growing national dealer network an opportunity to purchase vehicles from across the country and manage inventory in real-time," explained Koichi Suzuki, president of the automotive division of American Suzuki Motor Corp.
Suzuki dealers will be able to buy returning daily rental vehicles and corporate cars in online sales exclusive to Suzuki dealers. Each vehicle listing on Suzuki Direct is accompanied by a comprehensive electronic condition report conducted by independent inspection company, Vehicle Inspection Services, Inc. Every Suzuki dealer enrolled in Suzuki Direct is assigned a dedicated account manager at Onlane who maintains direct dealer contact, provides personal attention, ensures that individual inventory needs are met and informs dealers of appropriate daily purchasing opportunities.
"Combined with daily interaction with Onlane's account managers, Suzuki Direct provides our dealers the instant information they need to buy the right vehicles for their marketplace," said Tim Finley, used vehicle and fleet sales manager.
Suzuki Direct is designed to integrate into Suzuki's existing remarketing processes to help maximize the opportunity for Suzuki dealers to acquire Suzuki pre-owned product through both online and traditional auction channels.
