FRANKLIN, TN - The ServNet Auction group is now 23 auctions strong and has extended its footprint beyond the 48 contiguous states with the addition of Dealers Auto Auction of Alaska, ServNet CEO Pierre Pons announced this week.

“As Alaska’s first dealer wholesale auction, DAA of Alaska stands as a pioneer of the industry in its part of the country,” said Pons. “Owner and general manager Steve Sautner was not only the first to open an auction to serve dealers and financial customers in Alaska, but remains the primary point of contact for remarketers in a state that is larger than most regional territories in the lower 48. Steve’s dedication to his customers, both dealer and institutional alike, have marked DAA of Alaska as one of the premiere auctions in the country.”

DAA of Alaska was established by Steve Sautner in 1997. In 2005 Sautner merged his operation with Kodiak Auto Auction, combining the two operations to establish the current 15-acre facility located in the heart of mid-town Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city and the state’s business and banking hub. Running 200 vehicles weekly on two auction lanes, DAA of Alaska handles vehicles for new and used car dealers, manufacturers, vehicle importers, fleet and rental companies and the federal government.

“DAA of Alaska has earned a national reputation for obtaining some of the highest returns in the country, paired with providing a superior level of customer service in spite of brutal weather conditions and incredibly challenging transportation situations,” said ServNet President Jeff Brasher. “The ServNet owners have long admired Steve’s operation and are pleased to welcome DAA of Alaska as a ServNet member auction. Steve and his wife Kimberley exhibit the entrepreneurial, family run operation that is a hallmark of ServNet auctions.”

Customers from Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and beyond attend weekly consignment sales at DAA of Alaska on Wednesdays at 11 AM. In addition to vehicles from local dealers and financial institutions, DAA of Alaska counts among its customers such national remarketers as GMAC, Ford Motor Credit, Chrysler Financial, Wells Fargo, Wheels, and Santander USA. The auction provides in-house detail and recon services, transport services and title service.

“We have immense respect for the ServNet auction owners and are proud to bring the ServNet brand to Alaska,” said Steve Sautner. “We are certain that being identified as a ServNet auction will help us in strengthen our connections with national remarketers, and we look forward to working with ServNet’s executive staff and owners to make ServNet as well known in Alaska as it is in the rest of the country.”

The ServNet Auction Group is a network of America’s best strategically located independently-owned wholesale auto auctions. Since 1988, ServNet member auctions have been working together to provide a full range of remarketing services to its customers, including the best auctioneers, inspections, reconditioning, transportation assistance and inventory financing.
