NEW STANTON, PA – The ServNet Auction Group has added the Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction to its network of premier independent auto auctions in a move that marks the first of several initiatives to expand the ServNet Auctions geographic footprint.
The Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction (PIAA), formerly known a D-A Auto Auction, has been a part of the Southwestern Pennsylvania automobile industry for more than 30 years. The auction has seven lanes, which includes a state-of-the-art body shop and reconditioning facility. It offers 1,000+ vehicles each week for sale.
Located on 140 acres southeast of Pittsburgh in New Stanton, PA, D-A Auto Auction recently changed its name to better define who they are and where they are located. The auction, now named the Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction, services the entire metropolitan Pittsburgh market area and surrounding states.
PIAA has recently acquired an additional 17 acres adjacent to their existing facility for consignment inventory and is adding 200 new spaces of dealer parking.
The ServNet Auction Group is an association of independently owned wholesale auto auctions. For the past 20 years, ServNet member auctions have been working together to provide the full range of remarketing services, including the best auctioneers, inspections, reconditioning, transportation assistance, and inventory financing. New- and used-vehicle dealers, auto manufacturers, car rental companies, banks, financial institutions, and fleet management operations use ServNet auction services.
