FRANKLIN, TN – As the auction group continues to expand throughout the United States, ServNet president Keith Lelux announced a new auction member to its rankings.
The newest member to join the group is Mid-State Auto Auction. The announcement was made at ServNet’s Meet the Owners event in Chicago earlier this month, according to www.autoremarketing.com.
“I am very pleased to report that ServNet will be represented in the upper Midwest by the Mid-State Auto Auction in New York Mills, Minn.,” Lelux said. “As a family-run organization with strong core values and a commitment to customer service, Mid-State Auto Auction is a leader in its region.”
Robert Thompson founded the auction in 1983, officials indicated. The facility’s first sale featured 34 vehicles as a one-lane outdoor auction located in a creamery. Three years later, Thompson’s son, Rob, finished college and joined him at the auction. In 2003, father and son built a new facility on 68 acres of land.
Currently, the auction, located 150 miles northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul, features four lanes and serves dealers from throughout the country, as well as fleet/lease companies, banks and financial organizations at its sales each Friday.
The addition of Mid-State AA is the latest of ServNet’s expansions. Other new auction members this year include the Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction, BSC America’s Bel Air Auto Auction, and Tallahassee Auto Auction.
