RIO LINDA, CA – Ford Motor Company has again awarded Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction the “Auction Quality Award” for service excellence. The auction was named the No. 1 auction in the Far West Region for both Ford Motor Company and Ford Credit in 2005. The auction received the same designation from Ford in 2003. Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction has been a front-runner for Ford for more than a decade, earning numerous regional awards and Ford’s No. 1 national award as a Golden Gavel Winner in 1997, 1999, 2001, and 2002. Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction is the only auction to receive the Golden Gavel award more than once.
The Sacramento Auto Auction participates in Ford’s Auction Quality Award program, which measures the standard of service provided by auto auctions across the U.S. to Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury Dealers.
Ford's Auction Quality Award program is based on ratings for more than 30 aspects of auction operations in four major categories: product quality, auction service, administrative services, and auction facilities. The ratings are gathered through a series of written surveys completed by Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury dealers who attend the auction and operational assessments by Ford Motor Company. The surveys are tabulated monthly by the Auction Quality Award Program Headquarters in Detroit.
