MCKINNEY, TEXAS – RedBumper, a smartphone-based inventory management provider, announced the integration of Carfax Vehicle History Reports into its mobile app. Carfax Reports are automatically added to the app once a subscribing dealer runs a Carfax Report through the RedBumper platform. Dealers have the information they need to more effectively manage their inventory right at their fingertips – anytime, anywhere.
“It’s really satisfying to see that dealers are adopting our tools and loving them,” said Bruce Thompson, Founder and CEO of RedBumper. “That is the ultimate test at the end of the day. Our goal with RedBumper was to give dealers revolutionary smartphone tools that would simplify their daily tasks while giving them the best analytic/stocking tools on the market. We’ve had tremendous acceptance thus far with the installation of over 100 dealerships a month.”
RedBumper app users simply scan the VIN barcode and instantly see Carfax Highlights on the Vehicle Values tab. Key Carfax information – including whether the car is a Carfax 1-Owner – gives dealers a quick snapshot of the car’s past. With just a tap of the screen, dealers can view the full Carfax Report they’ve purchased at any time. Having this information readily-available through the RedBumper app helps dealers quickly determine which cars best meet their customers’ needs.
“Building Carfax information into the RedBumper mobile app helps simplify the way dealers manage their inventory,” said Larry Gamache, communications director at Carfax. “Over half of our dealer customers are Carfax Advantage Dealers, with access to as many Carfax Reports as they need to stock their lot with quality used cars.”
