JACKSON, MS - Rea Brothers’ Mid-South Auction recently announced that it is currently live on www.OVE.com.

Mid-South dealer customers can now choose to purchase Mid-South inventory in the site’s open, midstream marketplace and have their transactions “facilitated” by the auction. Also, Mid-South’s national consignor and dealer customers can now list vehicles on OVE.com, exposing their inventory to the largest dealer base in the industry.

Butch Royall, vice president, sales and marketing, Rea Brothers’ Mid-South Auction said, “At Mid-South we wanted to establish a relationship with a strong, online marketplace that had ties with, and respect for the physical auction environment. OVE.com fits these criteria, and it also offered several other benefits to our customers like a connection to the largest dealer base in the industry for our national consignors, and great customer service for our dealers.”

Each day, more than 10,000 vehicles are available 24/7 on OVE.com. The site began accepting independent auction partnerships in October 2007, allowing dealers and consignors used to doing business with non-chain auctions to go online and still do business with their familiar, independent auction locations.

Independent auctions like Mid-South that choose to partner with OVE.com act as facilitating locations. Facilitating locations are the brick-and-mortar auctions that guarantee title, money and arbitration if needed for OVE.com’s online wholesale vehicle transactions. These locations can also play an important role in the end-to-end solutions uniquely offered by the marketplace to commercial consignors.

Glenn O’Leary, director of Independent Auctions for OVE.com said, “With this launch, Mid-South joins the more than 14 independent auctions already passing on the benefits of our online wholesale channel to their customers. And like many of the independent auctions that have joined with us so far, Rea Brothers’ Mid-South Auction is a highly-respected auction, and we’re honored that it has chosen to partner with us.”
