According to Rea, the auction currently moves approximately 600 vehicles weekly. “ This new facility offers us the opportunity to expand our marketing efforts,” he said, “Our goal is 1,200 vehicle sales per week within the next five years.”

Nissan Motor Company’s new Canton, Mississippi automotive production plant is 28 miles north of the new Rea Brothers’ auction site.

Their weekly fleet/lease and dealer consignment auctions, including major regional franchised dealer trade vehicles, begin every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. The first sale at the new location will be February 22.

The new facility will serve Rea Brothers’ customers with six fully computerized selling-lanes, each equipped for over-sized vehicles. Located on 48 acres near the airport, the facility includes more than 25 acres of paved parking.

Grand opening for the Rea Brothers auction is scheduled for April 5, and will include nationally known guests as well as several special activities. Visitors, dealers, and prospective clients may contact John Rea, managing partner and auction general manager, directly at (601) 957-8806 for more information on the auction and its client services.
