BEL AIR, MD – R. Charles Nichols, president of BSC America, announced that Jeff Raynor joined the BSC America staff, with responsibilities that will expand a number of specialty sales operated by the company.

Nichols explained that Raynor is currently working to expand several of BSC America’s business activities: Chesapeake Fleet Services, the company’s fleet disposal arm: the Equipment Sale at the Clayton Station facility; and the company’s monthly Powersports, Boat and RV Sale. He will also work with BSC America’s Tallahassee Auto Auction to expand its market share.

Raynor comes to BSC America, headquartered in Bel Air, Md., from Jacksonville, Fla., where he spent two years as the commercial and governmental sales manager for a local Ford dealership. Prior to that, he served as both assistant manager and general manager at several ADESA auctions in Florida, gaining extensive experience in operations, remarketing and specialty sales, including heavy duty trucks, RV’s, and marine product. Earlier in his career he handled remarketing responsibilities for Barnett Banks in Atlanta, and Jacksonville, Fla., and for World Omni Financial Corp. in Jacksonville. He also owned his own independent auto dealership in the mid 1990’s in Jacksonville.

“Working with the Nichols family at BSC America is a dream come true for me,” said Raynor. “I’ve been in this business every since I was 16, helping my dad on his used car lot. It’s something that becomes part of you, and this is a tremendous opportunity for me to be connected with a company that is exciting, dynamic, diversified and growing. The people are wonderful, and their dedication to their business and this industry is a breath of fresh air. It’s a pleasure to come to work every day, and I foresee some really exciting growth in the days ahead.”
