“To help AutoIMS.com stay on top, we’ve created a new position of director of business development, which will be headed by Keely Smith, former customer service manager,” said Don Meadows, president of AutoIMS.com. “As Keely approaches seven years with AutoIMS.com, she has been at the center of training, as well as auction and client meetings, and she has been involved in many new projects over the years. Keely is busy with enhancements to the recovery applications, new services in AutoIMS, and new agreements from third-party remarketing companies.”
Roger Baldwin will take over as customer service manager. Baldwin worked for Keely in customer service, and his role continues to grow with training and new client orientation. Baldwin has helped train auctions on the company’s condition report writing software and bringing Canadian customers on board as ADESA Canada reinstated their participation in AutoIMS. Salvage-specific data also grew in 2008 with Manheim’s TRA and ADESA’s IAA auctions involvement. Baldwin will add and train additional customer services representatives to manage the company’s growth and support needs in 2009.
AutoIMS.com continues to branch out with new services for pricing, recovery applications, and data transmission services. In 2008, AutoIMS added additional IT staff and developers and migrated to an all-new third generation hardware platform to keep up with growing data requirements and bandwidth issues.
