MT. VERNON, IOWA - Plaza Auto Auction, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, appointed Tony Randazzo as Fleet/Lease Manager. Randazzo comes to Plaza with extensive automotive industry experience including seven years as Fleet/lease Manager at Manheim’s Milwaukee Auto Auctions and 10 years in the auto glass and vehicles reconditioning industries with Dent Wizard and Safelite.

Said auction owner Mark Greb, “We are delighted that Tony has joined our team here at Plaza Auto Auction. Added Randazzo, “This is a great opportunity to put my years of experience in customer service positions to work. Many National Accounts know me as a ‘Service Champion’, and understand that Plaza can offer efficient processes coupled with a strong Buyer base.”

Randazzo also credits his background of military service, both in the Air Force and Navy, with establishing his strong work ethic and process orientation.

Plaza Auto Auction has been in operation for over 45 years and has been the largest Wednesday evening auto auction in the Midwest for 40 of those years. Auction owner Mark Greb is a long-time veteran of the auto auction industry, having worked at both ADT and Manheim before acquiring Plaza Auto Auction in June of 2003. Since purchasing the auction, he has overseen upgrades to both the physical site and to the growing use of Internet channels for remarketing vehicles. Plaza stands as the only auction in the state of Iowa partnered with the OVE internet channel.

Plaza Auto Auction has regular auction sales every Wednesday and can be found on the web at www.plazaaa.com. The auctions offers over 500 vehicles for sale weekly, across five auction lanes with monthly specialty sales for trucks and motor sports. Dealers can choose Plaza Auto Auction to facilitate OVE dealer to dealer transactions, and institutional accounts can have their vehicles posted for sale seven days a week.
