ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Payless Car Sales has recently completed the signing of its first set of franchise renewals agreements with six of its earliest franchisees.

Payless dealers in Fern Park, Plantation and Tampa, Fla.; Jonesboro and LaGrange, Ga.; and Houston, Texas, have signed up for an additional five-year term as a Payless Car Sales dealership. Each of these, previously independent, dealers joined the Payless Car Sales Franchise System in 2002 — its first year of operation.

“Growth is great, but retention is the key to any franchise systems success,” said Mike Harley, president and COO of Payless Car Sales, Inc. “Selling a start-up franchise is not an easy proposition. You’ve got to sell the dream, the belief in the brand, and the value of what it brings to the table. These dealers were all able to see what we had envisioned — an organization of highly qualified, experienced, and respected independent dealers, brought together under one well recognized and trusted brand, building a chain of mutually supportive dealerships across the country.”

Payless Car Sales is a franchise system specifically designed to provide qualified independent used-car dealerships with the opportunity to affiliate with a recognized and trusted global brand. Initially formulated to provide a sales platform for disposing of rental vehicles for its sister company Payless Car Rental, Payless Car Sales became a separate entity in February 2002 and has now grown to more than 50 locations in 16 states and Puerto Rico. Payless Car Sales, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Florida-based Avalon Global Group, Inc., a privately held company headquartered in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Payless is continuing to expand across the United States and plans to enter the international marketplace as well. For additional information about the Payless Car Sales franchise opportunity, visit www.PaylessFranchise.com.
