LAS VEGAS – OVE.com, the 24/7 Bid or Buy Now marketplace, awarded 10 brick-and-mortar auctions across the country with Otto Awards, recognizing them for being outstanding partners in the OVE.com marketplace. The awards, which are named for the company’s ferret mascot, were presented at a gala awards ceremony at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas during the NAAA Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR).
The Otto Awards were presented to two separate winners, one Manheim auction and one independent auction, in each of five categories. The categories and winners were as follows:
Best Overall: Manheim Nashville, Columbus Fair Auto Auction
Most Innovative: Manheim Central Florida, BSC America Bel Air Auto Auction
Most Sold (commercial): Manheim Pennsylvania, Greensboro Auto Auction
Most Sold (dealer): Manheim Pennsylvania, Dyer Auto Auction
Highest Year-Over-Year Growth: Manheim Indianapolis, Norwalk Auto Auction
“These winning auctions recognize that their customers’ remarketing programs can be more successful by offering a mix of in-lane and online options,” said Mike Broe, executive vice president, Manheim U.S. Operations. “As customers continue to realize greater efficiencies through online remarketing, it will be increasingly important for physical auctions to offer a wider variety of remarketing channels for their customers.”
Sellers interested in remarketing their vehicles via OVE.com are invited to contact the general manager of their nearest Manheim auction. A list of Manheim auction locations is available at www.manheim.com.
