Manheim expects 20,000 vehicles to run through its 30 lanes Thurs., Nov. 17, during its biweekly Exotic Highline sale and during its regular weekly sale on Friday. As many as 9,000 dealers are expected to attend from most of the 50 states, with hundreds more participating online via Manheim Simulcast.
“We hold the largest Exotic Highline sale in the country every other Thursday, running 6,000 to 7,000 of the cleanest, highest-quality cars in 26 or more lanes,” said Keith Williams, Manheim Auto Auction general manager. “We have developed a reputation for running the ‘top of the market’ vehicles from commercial and dealer consignors, and the best selection always brings out the largest buyer base. We are having the Orange County Choppers crew here as a way to thank our buyers for their business, but we believe it will also significantly increase attendance and consignment and generate added excitement about the sale.”
During typical biweekly Thursday and Friday sales Manheim Auto Auction will offer 16,000 vehicles for sale, according to Keith Williams, Manheim Auto Auction general manager. For the upcoming Orange County Choppers appearance he expects at least 50 percent of the vehicles to be sold. Every lane will be Simulcast during the sales, and the auction expects to sell 1,000 or more units to online buyers during the two days.
