LAS VEGAS – Recently, Greg Lubrani, director of sales OPENLANE (formerly ATC-Onlane), participated in a panel session at the 10th annual National Alliance of Buy-Here-Pay-Here Dealers (NABD) Conference.
The panel, “It All Starts with the Right Vehicles,” was held at the Las Vegas Hilton. NABD is focused exclusively on the needs of the buy-here, pay-here industry. This year’s conference theme, “Facing New Challenges,” focused on strategies to improve profits and cash flow, where to find capital, how to locate the best customers, and how to avoid legal and regulatory mistakes.
Ken Shilson, founder of NABD, moderated the panel in which Lubrani joined executives from www.OVE.com and GMAC SmartAuction to discuss the benefits of buying and selling wholesale inventory online.
Topics discussed included:
How online auctions have advanced over the years and what kind of information is available online that allows customers to make an informed buying decision.
The variety of inventory that is available online.
Key differences between the various online auction sites.
How online auctions benefit independent dealers, franchise dealers, and group dealerships.
