Nutkins to Head National Account Sales at Plaza Auto Auction

MT. VERNON, IOWA - Plaza Auto Auction has announced the addition of William “Bill” Nutkins to its auction sales team.

MT. VERNON, IOWA - Plaza Auto Auction has announced the addition of William “Bill” Nutkins to its auction sales team. Auction Owner Mark Greb indicated that Nutkins will serve as National Accounts Sales Manager for the auction, which is located in Mt. Vernon, Iowa.

“We take great pleasure in welcoming Bill Nutkins to Plaza Auto Auction,” said Greb. “He is well-connected in the industry and brings with him years of experience with auctions, dealerships, manufacturers, car rental companies and insurance companies. Bill’s background and expertise will prove a tremendous asset to our sales efforts as Plaza Auto Auction extends its reach into the national marketplace”

Nutkins has spent more than 35 years in sales and operations, in both retail and remarketing environments. Most recently, he worked as sales manager / national accounts for Manheim/Remarketing Solutions, focusing on credit unions and auction support.

ServNet’s newest auction member, Plaza Auto Auction has been in business for 49 years, and has distinguished itself in its market as the largest evening sale in the Midwest, holding an auction on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. The auction offers over 500 vehicles for sale weekly, across five auction lanes with monthly specialty sales for trucks and motor sports. Along with consignments from new and used car dealers throughout the Midwest, Plaza Auto Auction features vehicles from a number of regional and national fleet/lease and repo accounts, including PHH, Flexco Fleet Services, Emkay, Veridian Credit Union, Avis/Budget, Remarketing Solutions, Enterprise, and Fleet/Lease Disposal.
