SAN JOSE, CA - Brasher's San Jose Auto Auction announced that Shelly Frank has been hired as its Northern California sales representative.  Her primary responsibility will be to increase consignment from new and used car dealerships as well as working with banks, fleet and finance companies at Brasher's newest auction in San Jose.

"We are pleased to introduce Shelly Frank as the newest member of our sales department at Brasher's San Jose Auto Auction," said auction president John Brasher.  "We have known her for many years as a customer and are delighted to welcome her to our auction team. Her years of experience in both auto remarketing and dealer sales will be a tremendous asset to both the auction and our customers."

"Shelly will be especially key as we continue to build relationships with new and used car dealers, familiarizing them with the products and services our auctions have to offer," Brasher said.  "With her background and knowledge of the market, we expect that she will work with dealers as well as institutional consignors to determine how Brasher's can best serve them in Northern California, either at Brasher's San Jose or Brasher's Sacramento Auto Auction."

Shelly comes to Brasher's with more than twenty years of experience in auto remarketing and dealer sales.  She launched her career at Western Financial/Westcorp, and spent five years with Ford Credit in dealer sales before moving to Fireside Bank.  There she managed the repossession, remarketing and insurance areas of the company's loss mitigation department. She most recently worked with North Bay Auto Auction as vice president of bank car sales.

Opened in the summer of 2010, Brasher's San Jose Auto Auction is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, in the 4th largest market in the U.S., and holds a sale every Thursday at 9 am. The weekly auction includes consignments from new and used car dealers, rental companies, credit unions and finance companies.  It is the newest member of the Brasher family of auctions, which was founded in 1949 in Salt Lake City, UT, and which now includes seven auctions throughout the West. All Brasher's auctions are members of the ServNet auction group.
