FREDERICK, MD – Since the NAAA Hurricane Relief Fund Committee (NAAA-RF) and fundraising efforts launched in efforts to help fellow auction member families impacted from this year's hurricanes, the members through NAAA have been able to help 75 families in need. To date, $86,000 has been distributed amongst those families.
Spreading holiday cheers and assistance was recently decided during a NAAA-HRF committee conference call meeting, where the decision was made to provide those families with a $100 holiday gift card from Wal-Mart.
For families still in need of additional assistance, a Part 2 Relief Fund Application can be downloaded at www.naaa.com/html/resources/index.cfm. The Part 2 application form should be used for families who have previously received funds. Part 1 application should be used for applicants requesting assistance for the first time.
For NAAA members who would like to contribute toward the continual efforts of helping their auction member families need, please contact Frank Hackett, NAAA executive director at (301) 696-0400 or email: hackett@naaa.com.
