Mid-State Auto Auction has been serving the greater Columbia, S.C., area since 1979, bringing buyers and sellers of automobiles together. Auctions have changed over the years, and Midstate continues to set the standard with a modern facility while retaining the flavor of the “old time” auctions of yesteryear.
“Midstate has been in business since 1979 and is a welcome addition to the Alliance,” said Matt Marks, executive director.
Midstate Auto Auction offers customers a live auction experience with four-lane selling. Located at 5363 Augusta Road (US Hwy #1-one mile south of I-20) in Lexington, S.C., Midstate holds auctions twice a week on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
IARA is a nonprofit organization composed of remarketing professionals dedicated to the continuous improvement of the vehicle remarketing industry. IARA was created in 2001 in response to a realization by several vehicle remarketing organizations that this multi-billion dollar per year industry had no direct representative organization. IARA conducts two semiannual roundtable industry meetings, one of which is in conjunction with a national remarketing conference.
