MetroGistics, a full-service vehicle transportation company, has announced the hiring of Craig Clayton as director of technology.

Clayton will be responsible for continuing to expand the company’s technology infrastructure, designing exciting new Web and mobile applications to support clients, and leading innovation in the auto transport industry.

MetroGistics announced the hiring of Craig Clayton as director of technology.

With more than 11 years of IT management experience, Clayton’s background in information security, Web design, database design, and networking provides him with the necessary skills needed for his new position. Clayton most recently served as the director for information services in a large school district just outside ofNashville,Tenn.  Before that, he served as the chief technology officer at AmeriFlex, a financial services/health benefits administrator.

Clayton is a native of western Kentucky, and graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications systems management. When he is not working, he enjoys golfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, boating, and spending time with his two kids and wife.

“We are very excited to bring Craig onto the team,” said Scott Naz, one of MetroGistics’s owners. “He comes to us with a variety of skills acquired through an extensive work background, and we look forward to leveraging his passion for technology and innovation.”
