Metro Auto Auction of Phoenix has joined the ServNet Auction Group — a network of more than 50 independent wholesale auto auctions, the company announced.

Metro Auto Auction Phoenix, which is part of the Berkshire-Hathaway Automotive Group franchise dealer chain, has been operating since 2007. Tom McDermott is the auction's founder and managing partner.

The auction offers over 1,600 units at its weekly Tuesday sale. Its dealer consignment segment includes vehicles from over 70 franchise dealerships and the largest independent dealerships in the state. Commercial accounts such as Kia and U-Haul provide vehicles for sale.

"Tom McDermott leads a facility that is a leader in its region, with a long-established and vibrant influence in the Southwest," said Eric Autenrieth, ServNet's president. "ServNet continues to seek the strongest independent auctions in key markets across the country, and the addition of Metro Auto Auction Phoenix helps to extend the reach of our service from coast to coast, and from Florida to Alaska."

Metro Auto Auction offers services such as transportation, reconditioning, post-sale inspections, financing, salvage, and specialty sales. The auction now offers the largest dealer consignment sale in the West, and remarkets vehicles for financial institutions, credit units, rental car companies and leasing firms. The auction also holds a monthly sale for the U.S. General Services Administration.

The ServNet Auction Group is managed by TPC Management with headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.
