Merchants Fleet has seen significant growth in its remarketing services, specifically its GuaranteeTRAC program. The GuaranteeTRAC program pays a guaranteed price up front for fleet assets and assumes all the resale risk.
This is designed as an option for organizations looking to cash out their vehicles immediately or who have “odd” or unusual units that can be hard to sell, including heavy equipment.
“As our remarketing business grew, it became increasingly clear that we needed to expand our team,” said Jeff Thomas, regional vice president of the West Region at Merchants Fleet. “Jesse’s senior-level account management experience is going to be a great asset as more companies look for fast, streamlined ways to dispose of their vehicles.”
Hopperstad has 20 years of combined sales experience in the rental, upfitting, and automotive industries. Most recently he was a national account manager at Auto Truck Group, where he managed multiple key accounts and successfully increased territory sales. His areas of expertise include strategy development, consultative sales, contract negotiations, territory management, new business development, and client service excellence. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Colorado at Boulder. He is based in Littleton, Colorado.
