Martin Promoted to Senior VP, Operations for LeasePlan USA
ALPHARETTA, GA - LeasePlan USA announced the promotion of Tim Martin to the role of senior vice president, operations, effective Jan. 1, 2010.
ALPHARETTA, GA - LeasePlan USA announced the promotion of Tim Martin to the role of senior vice president, operations, effective Jan. 1, 2010. Martin is now a part of the company's executive management team and will report directly to President and CEO Mike Pitcher.
Martin will assume responsibility for all of LeasePlan's operations. In this position, he will be responsible for the management of vehicle acquisition, vehicle upfitting, remarketing, license, title and registration. He also manages vendor relations and strategic consultations. In this new role, he will oversee the maintenance and repair contact center located in the company's Rolling Meadows, Ill. office as well.
Martin joined LeasePlan in August of 2005 as director, remarketing, and was later promoted to his current role as vice president, Atlanta operations. He brings more than two decades of automotive experience to this role including leadership roles with Saab Cars USA Inc., Saab Financial Services Corp., Mercedes-Benz Credit Corp. and General Motors Acceptance Corp.
Martin was recently named to Auto Remarketing magazine's "Who's Who: Top Fleet Lease and Rental Executives."
