Manheim’s 2004 Used-Car Market Report (UCMR) won the Gold Pen Award – the highest honor given by the Nashville, Tenn., chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) at its annual awards program June 10.
This year’s award in the “technical writing” category adds another accolade to the list of honors the UCMR has collected over the years. In 2003, the Report won IABC’s Silver Pen award as well as a national first-place honor at the Clarion Awards given by the Association of Women in Communications. It also won first place in the 2002 Parthenon Awards for the Nashville chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. In 2001 and 1999, the UCMR won second- and first-place Parthenon awards, respectively.
