ATLANTA - Manheim Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer Lilicia Bailey has been selected as one of Savoy Magazine's "2012 Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America." Bailey and the other honorees, which include prominent African-American executives from Fortune 500 companies across the country, are featured in a special section of the spring 2012 issue of Savoy Magazine.

The annual list features African-American professionals who: exemplify success and commitment to community, are industry trailblazers and serve as corporate role models for future generations. Bailey was selected for her professional achievements and strong dedication to the communities in which she has lived and worked.

"Lilicia is a valued member of Manheim's executive leadership team, and we congratulate her on this well-deserved achievement," said Sandy Schwartz, president of Manheim. "As Chief People Officer, Lilicia plays a vital role in developing programs and providing opportunities that enable employees to reach their full potential. And, as a thought leader she plays a key role in helping guide our strategic thinking and planning. We are very proud of her and the contributions she is making at Manheim and within the communities we serve."

A member of Manheim's executive team, Bailey leads the company's global human capital strategy. Her responsibilities include oversight of multiple practices, including: organizational effectiveness, corporate communications, change leadership, executive development and succession, global employee engagement and legal.

After joining Manheim in 2004, Bailey took on various leadership roles, eventually moving into the role of Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer in 2009. Bailey has spearheaded multiple enterprise-wide initiatives that achieved measureable business results. Under her leadership, Manheim has been recognized as a "Best Place to Work for People 50 and Over" by AARP for the past three years.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Bailey has demonstrated a strong commitment to her community, holding non-profit board leadership positions with Cobb Family Resources, Girls Inc. and Communities in Schools of Georgia.

This latest accolade adds to a growing list of awards Bailey has received in the past year, including: Auto Remarketing's "2011 Women in Remarketing" and the Atlanta Business League's "Atlanta's Top 100 Black Women of Influence."
