Manheim's Total Resource Auctions Expands Texas Presence With Acquisition of Central Cities Auction Pool
ATLANTA – Total Resource Auctions President Jamie Porter has announced the acquisition of the Temple, Texas-based Central Cities Auction Pool business assets and operations.
ATLANTA – Total Resource Auctions President Jamie Porter has announced the acquisition of the Temple, Texas-based Central Cities Auction Pool business assets and operations, a move that expands Total Resource Auctions’ national footprint to 56 locations, including five in Texas.
Central Cities Auction Pool president Carroll Estes will continue to run the operation with his wife, Annette, and son, Chad, and eventually assume additional responsibilities at Total Resource Auctions.
“The addition of Central Cities Auction Pool to the Total Resource Auctions family is important for several reasons,” Porter said. “First, it allows us to better serve our customers in Texas, including establishing relationships with our insurance customers. Second, it reinforces our commitment to expand our salvage operations. And third, it means adding experienced and knowledgeable leaders to our team, which is great news for us, for our customers, and for the industry.”
The acquisition of Central Cities Auction Pool comes on the heels of an earlier expansion for Total Resource Auctions this spring; in March, the company announced the acquisition of four industry-leading salvage auction companies operating at 11 locations: Klode Salvage Distribution Center, Inc.; S.A.I.S.C., Inc.; Sapulpa Auto Pool, Inc.; and SourceOne Solutions.
As with those previous acquisitions, Central Cities Auction Pool will continue to offer AIMS Software to customers and run its operating system. In addition, Central Cities Auction Pool will host, manage, and maintain AIMS Net.
